Some of My Story
If someone asked me about “my story,” my professional answer would be: I grew up in a small town in Kansas and went to KU, where I earned a degree in Behavioral Science. My career took a turn when the gym I worked for moved me to New York. Since then, I’ve built a career in personal training, competed in numerous physique competitions, and worked in bars and restaurants before eventually starting my own thriving fitness company—which I absolutely love.
But that version leaves out the truth about my relationship with alcohol. The fitness competitions were really my way of forcing alcohol breaks. I couldn’t get a job with my degree because of my record. For years drinking dominated my life. I started young and partied hard. Things escalated pretty fast. Weekends meant getting hammered and doing reckless things—that was normal to me. My drinking got me into trouble repeatedly; I was my own worst enemy.
I bartended through college and spent ten years behind the bar in Brooklyn. Drinking wasn’t just part of my life—it was my life. The destructive cycle was endless: blackout, regret, promises to quit, and then back at it. I tried to “be good” for short stretches, but I never thought I could actually stop. Me? Sober? Sobriety felt impossible. My work and social world revolved around alcohol; I didn’t know who I was without it.
Everything changed when I rewired the beliefs that kept me stuck. Once that mental shift happened, the cravings and urges were gone. I quit drinking while still bartending, and the peace and clarity that came with sobriety have completely transformed my life. It wasn’t easy, but it’s something I’m proud of and want to share—because without it, I don’t think I’d still be here.
My online fitness and sobriety coaching program for woman will address underlying issues of why you drink and use the body's miraculous ability to heal itself. You will learn how to uncover who you were always meant to be–without the booze. It is never too late. You too can rewrite your story.
Why Fitness Is Important To Me
Working out has always kept me sane. I enjoy the solitude and the challenge. It is when I feel most connected to my body and at peace in my mind. I hope I can guide you to see exercise as a safe place, one in which you can truly be yourself.

Throughout my life, I have learned the importance of little changes.
